city commons

There is a need to make cities friendlier and more pleasant for the people living in them. In this project I aimed to provide undefined free blocks for citizens to use and with whom they may occupy and make an impact in the public space. Streets should be a dynamic common place to live in and have fun.

Who   owns   the   streets?

“Citizens are competent and proactive users, who have the ability to reconfigure the employment they make of institutional support with more room for decision, more autonomy, more participation and more responsibility.”
